KEVIN HARTMAN, PharmD

Founder & CEO

NPS Pharmacy was opened in January of 2001 by owner pharmacist Kevin Hartman. Kevin literally grew up in the pharmacy business. Kevin's father owned a retail pharmacy in Nashville from the late '70s to the late '90s.

Kevin graduated with a PharmD degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 1994. Kevin has practiced exclusively in community pharmacy as a pharmacist for 27 years, owning and working at NPS for 20 of those 27 years. Kevin has been married for 30 years and has 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. Kevin enjoys entertaining family and friends, as well as golfing, hunting and fishing.

JOHN D. WINNETT, MBA, 340B ACE

President

Pronouns: He, Him, His

John brings over 20 years’ of executive management experience to NPS. In his role as President, John leads NPS’ growth strategy, with responsibility for increased market penetration and partnership development. He also oversees national relationships, government relations, and charitable giving. John is an avid traveler, huge foodie, competitive softball and cornhole player, and proud dad of Jackson, his Boston Terrier that travels everywhere with him. He also serves on the Community Voices for 340B (CV340B) Board of Directors . John holds MBA in Healthcare from the Jack Welch Management Institute (JWMI), where he was a Welch Scholar, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Cumberland University. In addition, he is an Apexus 340B Operations Expert (340B ACE). John is based and lives in Washington, DC.

ASHLEY WILLIAMS, PharmD, AAHIVP, 340B ACE

Chief Pharmacy Officer

Ashley Williams brings over a decade of pharmacy experience to NPS with specializations in 340B, medication therapy management, drug utilization, patient counseling and communication. She graduated from Union University School of Pharmacy as a part of the inaugural class of 2012. While at Union, Ashley served as Class President, Phi Lambda Sigma President, APhA Membership Vice President, and admissions committee student representative. Dr. Williams currently resides in Nashville with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends, reading and traveling.

DANIELLE MATHERS, 340B ACE

Senior Vice President

Danielle brings over a decade of expertise in the 340B program to NPS. In her role as Senior Vice President of 340B, Danielle oversees NPS’ 340B operations, including covered entity relationships and 340B program optimization.  Before joining NPS Pharmacy, Danielle served as Vice President at Ponaman Healthcare Consulting, where she led efforts to support 340B entities through independent external audits, HRSA audits, program implementation, FQHC Look-Alike application development, and project management. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Washington College. In addition, she is an Apexus 340B Operations Expert (340B ACE). Danielle is based and lives in Washington, DC.

WILL SAWYER, JD

Vice President, Strategy and Administration

Will brings over 18 years of experience in developing and driving corporate strategy to NPS. In his role as Vice President of Strategy and Administration, Will oversees strategic partnerships, human resources, information technology, and marketing. Before joining NPS, Will most recently served as Vice President, Employee Benefit Team Lead for one of the nation’s top risk management solutions companies. Earlier in his career, Will served as the Chief Administrative Officer of a large construction company with over 1,500 employees across 28 states. He lives in Nashville with his partner, Logan, and their two spoiled dogs, Zoe and Major. Will once ran nine marathons in one year!
