KEVIN HARTMAN, PharmD
Founder & CEO Emeritus

NPS Pharmacy was opened in January of 2001 by owner pharmacist Kevin Hartman. Kevin literally grew up in the pharmacy business. Kevin's father owned a retail pharmacy in Nashville from the late '70s to the late '90s.
Kevin graduated with a PharmD degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 1994. Kevin has practiced exclusively in community pharmacy as a pharmacist for 27 years, owning and working at NPS for 20 of those 27 years. Kevin has been married for 30 years and has 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. Kevin enjoys entertaining family and friends, as well as golfing, hunting and fishing.

JOHN D. WINNETT, MBA, MMHC, 340B ACE
Chief Executive Officer

John D. Winnett is the Chief Executive Officer of NPS Pharmacy, a subsidiary of HARTWINN GROUP, a healthcare holding company with subsidiaries including NPS Pharmacy, NPS Healthcare, NPS Telecare, JAXSCO RX, JAXSCO, and Maximizing 340B Institute. John joined NPS in 2020 as its Chief Strategy Officer, where he led enterprise strategy, growth initiatives, and organizational transformation. In 2025, he was appointed CEO.
Known for turning policy volatility and industry chaos into clarity, John drives organizational restructuring, operational excellence, and innovation—delivering transformative results for specialty pharmacies, health systems, and related companies. His expertise includes growth strategy, FP&A, and go-to-market development for emerging services—safeguarding revenue while expanding patient access.
A sought-after speaker, John has presented and moderated at numerous national conferences, including Amplify, Continuum, GLMA, NMAC Biomedical Summit, RWC-340B Grantees, and Synchronicity, among others. Offstage, he’s a CEO who whiteboards fast, pivots quickly, and delivers results backed by data.
John holds a Master of Management in Health Care from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute, and is a 340B Apexus Certified Expert. Outside the office, he is the proud dad of Jackson—a 12-year-old Boston Terrier who travels everywhere with him (yes, including this conference). He splits his time between Washington, DC, and Nashville, TN; is a bourbon and bold red wine connoisseur; and is a trained art and charity auctioneer—going once, going twice, sold!

ASHLEY WILLIAMS, PharmD, AAHIVP, 340B ACE
Chief Pharmacy Officer

Ashley Williams brings more than a decade of diverse and dedicated pharmacy experience to NPS, specializing in 340B, medication therapy management, drug utilization, and patient-centered counseling and communication. She has a passion for improving patient care and supporting healthcare systems.
She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Union University School of Pharmacy as a proud member of the school’s inaugural Class of 2012, where she also had the honor of serving as Class President. Dr. Williams is a 340B Apexus Certified Expert and an American Academy of HIV Pharmacist. She is currently furthering her leadership and management skills through the Master of Management in Health Care program at Vanderbilt University, with an anticipated graduation in Fall 2026.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Williams resides in Nashville, Tennessee, where she loves spending time with her husband and two children.

DANIELLE MATHERS, 340B ACE
Senior Vice President

Danielle brings over a decade of expertise in the 340B program to NPS. In her role as Senior Vice President of 340B, Danielle oversees NPS’ 340B operations, including covered entity relationships and 340B program optimization. Before joining NPS Pharmacy, Danielle served as Vice President at Ponaman Healthcare Consulting, where she led efforts to support 340B entities through independent external audits, HRSA audits, program implementation, FQHC Look-Alike application development, and project management. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Washington College. In addition, she is an Apexus 340B Operations Expert (340B ACE). Danielle is based and lives in Washington, DC.
